Cmielow Porcelain Sculpture - Giraffe (small sized)
These cmielow sculptures were originally created over 40 years ago at the famous Cmielow porcelain factory in Poland. Both the original artists and their work have become famous and are highly sought after by collectors.
A fire in the 1960's closed the factory but some of the original moulds were recently salvaged and production has recommenced.
Each cmielow sculpture is made using the finest quality porcelain and is marked with the official Cmielow design, the year of production and its number in that year.
In addition each cmielow piece is supplied with its own certificate giving information including the Polish name, the sculptor's name and the year it was originally designed. We think that these retro pieces, with strong 50's and Art Deco influences will be collected and valued by generations to come.
